Oh say, can you see?

As any good, red-blooded American will tell you, a barbeque is an essential part of any celebration relating to the founding of this great nation. And so, on the 4th of July we did our part by cranking up the propane and grilling beef and pork ribs using Chris' secret sauce recipie and some new Ultra Top Secret preparation methods. I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.

Mmmmm, don't they look delicious? Lucky for Chris and I, almost all of my family was in town, so we didn't have to try and eat all these ourselves. Dad was up taking care of grandma, Derek was visiting his girlfriend and Brooks didn't have to work, so we were able to eat, chat and later, to blow crap up :)

Chris and I seem to have accumulated a lot of fireworks in the almost 3 years since we've been married. We had a fun time digging through the remnants of 4th of July's past and finding all sorts of stuff. My dad and bro had a fun time picking stuff out to set off.

God Bless America!!!!
